My mind is already in 2024…
This morning, I left the laptop screen dark and pulled out my pens and paper and my index cards and markers. Then I poured a cup of coffee and pored over plans for the first three months of 2024. How many hours do I have? Can I accomplish what I want to do? What must I do now to be successful in January?
Work, family, hobbies, community, vacation. I love a life where I can do it all, but tough decisions are inevitable. Time is finite.
That’s why I am relieved that Liisa and I have already carved out 4 days in January for Rekindle Creativity: Women’s Writing Retreat in Muskoka. It’s offered an opportunity for writers to plan now, in November, for accomplishment later, in the new year, and I am cohosting it with Liisa Kovala of
at Hidden Valley Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. From January 16 to 19, you can make time for your writing, and you can book it now. Come join us and the women who have already said yes to their goals for 2024. We will retreat from our daily life and all the responsibilities that come with it and get cozy with our book projects. With time to write and time to gather, we will rekindle our sense of creativity and our sense of accomplishment.
Book today and thank yourself later. This is how you start. This is your starting point.
All the info and registration details are on our website at www.rekindlecreativity.com
Will you write your book in 2024?
Before I moved back into writing, editing and now book coaching, I spent many years working in a purpose-driven space. We could see the difference our approach made to the people we served. It was so clear and simple how to do it. But not everyone on the outside could see that yet. What we were doing was new, counter to the prescribed way of doing things. People were transformed by the work we did. But we were so busy, often working on an empty tank of gas, that we rarely had the time to reflect on what we were doing, much less write the book on it.
Sometimes, other people told our story.
Sometimes, they got it wrong.
Don’t you want to tell your own story?
