Hello! Thanks for subscribing.
I’m Dinah Laprairie. I help nonfiction writers finally finish their manuscripts and publish big-hearted books that inspire and drive change by orienting their message to their ideal readers.
This newsletter is for readers, writers and anyone who wants to begin practicing delight. Like the magazines I used to publish, this newsletter has ‘departments’:
3 Small Items of Great Delight, my personal writing focused on delight and discovery. It’s intended as a tribute and a mindset. This is where I get to exercise my own writing muscles. A blog, of sorts, and thank you very much for entertaining it.
Writing With Purpose, a section dedicated to the act of writing. I’m an editor and a book coach, and I offer these articles to writers as a very small contribution to the vast landscape of writing-related content out there online.
Readability Book Reviews, focused on the reader’s experience of book. How do we choose the books we read? I review the books I have encountered, from first glance to final page.
Because this newsletter is very much tied to my business of writing, editing, and book coaching, now and then I will also point out my services, product offerings, and events or workshops. Feel free to pass along my name to others when it seems like a good fit — word-of-mouth business is the best kind of business!
